About the books

All books are carefully selected from second-hand bookshops and independent bookshops across Portugal, as part of our curation process.

Each copy is individually inspected and chosen in good condition.

As these are pre-loved books, they may show minor signs of age and previous use, reflecting their history and character without affecting the reading experience.

Each Blind Date includes a selection of thoughtful extras to accompany your reading experience:

Each order includes at least 6 accessories, although the contents may vary slightly from one Blind Date to another.

FAQ

• Are the books new?

No. Our Blind Dates feature second-hand books, carefully selected from bookshops across Portugal. Each copy is individually inspected to ensure it is in good condition.

• Can I choose the title?

No. The essence of a Blind Date with a Book is the excitement of discovering a title chosen for you.

• Could I receive a book I've already read?

Yes, that is possible. As we do not know each customer's reading history, we cannot guarantee that the title will be completely new to you. However, we do our best to offer a diverse selection within each genre to make the experience as surprising as possible.

• How does the surprise work?

Simply choose your preferred genre and we will select a book from that category for you. The title remains a secret until you unwrap it, creating a reading experience inspired by the excitement of a true blind date.
